Home From Home Sanctuary didn't begin as a business plan. It began as a lifeline — at the most painful point of my life, when I needed something to hold on to.

After losing my daughter, it was a rescue animal who gave me a reason to keep going. That bond — between a broken heart and an animal who needed me as much as I needed them — became the foundation of everything I now do.

For over thirty-five years I have cared for animals of every species, earning qualifications, awards and — more importantly — the trust of hundreds of families across Hertfordshire and beyond. But the dream has always been bigger than pet care.

The dream is a sanctuary. A permanent, healing place where rescued animals are safe, nurtured, and loved. Where the bond that saved me can save others too.
